1. Do you ship outside the Seattle area?

Some of our products are available for shipping within the lower 48 states. See our online store for items we can always ship. The chicken coops we can ship are the Cube, Island and Farmhouse Coops.  They all require assembly.

2. Do you deliver?

Yes, we offer driveway delivery and basic assembly for a flat fee of $100 in Seattle.  If you need help getting the coop into your backyard, please arrange to have friends/family available to help you, or arrange for us to add this service before the driver arrives. For other areas, please contact us.  $60 delivery on Bainbridge Island.

3. Will you sell me your coop plans?

No, sorry; we do not sell plans to any of our designs at this time. Please remember, all our designs you see on this website are exclusive property of Saltbox Designs and cannot be replicated without the exclusive written permission of Berg Danielson.

4. Can you make me a custom coop?

Yes, please contact us to discuss your custom project.

5. Can I buy online?

No, please use the contact from or call us to order. We do accept credit cards, e-check and PayPal.

6. Do you take credit cards?

Yes.

7. Don’t chickens attract rats?  What about raccoons and other predators?

Yes, proper pest and predator protection is essential to secure your flock. Our coops feature heavy duty (16ga) welded wire mesh and predator proof latches.  We highly recommend you further  protect your hens by digging mesh around the base of your coop to prevent tunneling by rodents.
